Ekta’s mural has made it to the World Atlas of Street Art and Graffiti, published by Yale University in 2013. It shows Narcissus, so much in love with himself that he needs no contact with the outside world. In the desire to fulfil his love, Narcissus cuts off a piece of his own flesh so that he can taste himself. What’s interesting, Ekta got a helping hand on this wall from the members of the Swedish streetart group Wallride. He met them by chance when taking a walk in the Gdansk’s Old Town. The group itself got invited to the Monumental Art 2012 edition, which resulted in the mural painted in Pilotów 16.

Ekta, graphic artist, illustrator, painter, muralist from Sweden.  In addition to the work in the Collection, he has other projects in Poland, including Wrocław.
