Wrzeszcz Port – Marshall Piłsudski
Jacek Zdybel
2013
Gdańsk, Grunwaldzka 176
The Port of Wrzeszcz is one of the City Culture Signs from an idea by Szymon Wróblewski from Plama GAK. The gable walls of blocks 174-182 facing the road are reminiscent of ships moored at an imaginary port on Grunwaldzka street. There are many more such buildings and associations, beginning with the Olivia Hall, through the Wrzeszcz islet, up to more recent office constructions. The first vessel to dock in the Port of Wrzeszcz is the legendary transatlantic liner the MS Piłsudski.
